Great Highland Bagpiper
Welcome to Piper's Grant™, a site which provides resources for both new and seasoned pipers, as well as for those whom just enjoying listening to the Great Highland Bagpipe or want to learn more about it. It is our hope that you enjoy this site, and are able to gain some insight into this great, and often though of as mysterious, instrument.
Piper's Grant™ provides quality piping instruction, performances and services to the public, with over 20 years experience, both in solo and band piping, classical and modern music. Piper's Grant™ is responsible for teaching the pipes to nearly 400 pipers, of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
Many of our students have progressed to become very well versed in the piping field with excellent piping technique and ability. Some students have gone onto professional piping roles and also onto teaching students of their own. Feedback & evaluations of our performances, classes, & lessons have consistently been rated as "EXCELLENT".
Based in Columbia, Maryland, USA, Piper's Grant™ has its roots in Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada and applies much of that area's rich, unique Scottish roots, which include those of P/M Fraser Holmes, to the Maryland area and its students.
